University of Florida President Kent Fuchs and his wife, Linda Fuchs, provided our junior studio with the opportunity to design their holiday card. Working with four classmates, we designed this card that was chosen above five other card designs. The card was sent to family and friends of President Fuchs and UF alumni and was selected for UF's design symposium, Ligature 27.
While working on this project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of four other classmates. We split the work evenly between us and collaborated ideas when necessary. For this card, I contributed by drawing a handful of the icons on the front of the card and hand-lettering the message, "Warmest wishes," on the inside. We partnered with the university's Fab Lab to print and produce these cards with die-cuts and foiling.
